OneTube, TwoTube, PornTube, GreedTube
A big what's up this morning to two sites glomming off YouTube's popularity.
First is GreedTube , where you can make some spare cash by embedding YouTube videos on the site. The site splits ad revenue from Google ads 50/50 with the uploader. The site wins points for soliciting every salacious video on YouTube. But the site's legality is questionable -- can you make money from somebody else's content in this manner? Obviously, bloggers embed YouTube videos in their blogs all the time, and those blogs can contain advertisements. But I think it's probably not legit to share revenue. Either way, I agree with Pete Cashmore -- this is a site just begging for a cease and desist letter from YouTube.
While we're chatting about GreedTube, here's another site that takes the merkin (as it were) from video sharing. PornoTube is a free adult site that displays adult content and links to other adult sites. I'd say this site was also in danger of being shut down, but it's been up for at least a few months. I mean, uh, that's what I heard.

That's interesting... I read if you're up for longer than four hours you should consult a doctor. *rimshot*
