YouTube rolls out some site improvements

I missed this on Friday: YouTube has made several improvements to the site, according to a recent post on the YouTube blog. Improvements include:

  • An email message system that actually works (it was almost as bad as MySpace).
  • you can now block specific users from commenting on your video page
  • channels are customizable -- you can choose not to show your favorite videos or which people subscribe to your feed.
  • you can now view which videos have the most responses
  • each video conatins a "post video" button that allows you to post the video to social bookmarking services like Flurl, del.icio.us, and Digg.
