Chain letters in YouTube comments
Don't know how common this practice is, but I just saw my first "chain letter" in a YouTube comment:
PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't post this comment to at least 3 videos, you will die within 2 days. Copy and paste this, to be saved and u sed dont red dis lol hahah
Kinda like The Ring, but without the necrotic teenager. So the evolution of chain letters is, apparently: letter --> e-mail --> comments. What's next, Twitter?

Dudes, you are all seriously demented!! Why put unnecessary fear into peoples lives based on hollywood films!!! Everybody should know that internet chain letters are devised by big promo companies as a way of getting peoples email addresses. So bendy lawyers in africa can try to get you to get money pretending you are someone else. Or what about the companies selling you a viagra. Nothing on the net will have a dead girl coming back for revenge just cos you 4got to hit send!!!

A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house.
