Al-Jazeera needs help with YouTube channel

Al-Jazeera launched a YouTube channel on Monday, according to 901am. Love Al-Jazeera's perspective, but most of the videos are intolerably long. Odd that, considering I usually dislike the brevity of American news reports. I hope there's some way Al-Jazeera can combine good journalism with short form video.

One of the more popular vids (and by popular, I mean 435 views) is the new series Political Bytes. At 20 minutes it's also too long and suffers from a lack of editing, even though the producers made the odd decision to create multiple frames (like Fox's "24") in the viewing window. Thus, a commenter below the vid: "Hot topic. Dull and amateur execution. Seddon interrupts his guests, appears to talk to the wall and even receives a cup of coffee in the middle. Here's a tip. EDIT."
