I study phonetics and have a home page. http://voicespec.com/

If you visit my home page, you can see many interesting discoveries of phonetics. One of the interesting facts is nearly all languages are interconnected to/with each other phonetically while every language has its own specific speaking posture different from other languages; that is, if trying to speak/articulate English word “egg” in Korean speaking posture, “egg”-equivalent “달갈[dal g(ia)l]” of Korean word is automatically pronounced instead of “egg”, vice versa, and so on.

As seen below, phonetic correspondence is found between English and Korean names also.

* Virginia Cha is a Korean American, who is a CNN Headline news anchor based in Atlanta.

“Jacob, James, Jacqueline, Jenny, Jessica, etc.” all are automatically pronounced as Korean “family name” of “車/차[c(h)a]” when articulated with Korean speaking posture/S.

“Virginia” is automatically pronounced as Korean “family name” of “邊/변[b(iΛ)n]” when articulated with Korean speaking posture/S, or as Korean “given name” /은숙[ŋ=n qug].

Instead of GRECOnglish “ Cha”, (English) “Ca” is automatically pronounced as Korean of “竹/죽[xug]/bamboo” when articulated with Korean speaking posture/S.

Instead of “Susan Hendricks”, “Hendricks Susan” is automatically pronounced as Korean 黃 淑誾, “황/family name” “숙은/given name” [h(oa)ŋ qug ŋ=n], 淑(clearness/transparence) 誾(gentleness) when articulated with Korean speaking posture/S.

Re; the articles of “English greatly adulterate/contaminated by Greeks/GRECONGlish.” <>, “Root 3. & English/Chinese vowels; Christopher Columbus; Tone or posture language” <>, & ““a/an/the”, Unaccented tails, Vowel (cluster) system of GRECOnglish.” <>.

P.S.: Conventional phonetics professors/etc. argue that speaking sounds are made through the trumpet/tube of the throat/larynx/etc. and that is all and no more contribution to the mankind/linguistics/etc. while I say that speaking sounds are made by the vibration of the (hemi-) diaphragms according to the theory of condition/reflection and I every week display further/new related discoveries which are very helpful to the mankind/linguistics as you see.
