Vuguru's 'Foreign Body' a flop
After 13 episodes of "Foreign Body," the fourth original series from Eisner-helmed Vuguru, the series seems to be flopping. The first episode is the largest performer on YouTube, garnering 54k views. From their the views dwindle down into the low thousands and hundreds, with ep10 receiving a scant 441 views.
According to numbers at Silicon Valley Reporter, Body's performing poorly on Veoh, and is pretty much dead on arrival at DailyMotion.
As I mentioned in my review of the series, Body's a tit-filled salacious romp that's also an advertisement for an upcoming Robin Cook thriller of the same name. With its creative mandate thus already compromised, here's a tip: Ensure the thumbnails for the videos have hot, almost naked women in them. You're sure to get views. And hell, it worked for ep8: That episode is the 2nd best performer with 26k views. The thumbnail: Gal in a bra.
